Artificial Intelligence (AI) has taken center stage. It’s not just a buzzword but a fundamental shift in how brands engage with their audiences, especially on social media platforms. The power of AI lies in its ability to transform vast amounts of data into meaningful insights, streamline marketing operations, and bring a personal touch to customer interactions at scale.
AI is like having a super-powered marketing assistant that helps you to craft content that resonates, engage with your audience effectively, and optimize your strategies in real-time.
Using AI prompts in social media marketing can significantly streamline your workflow and enhance your content strategy. Not to mention, save you a heck of a lot of time. It’s crucial to navigate this space thoughtfully to avoid pitfalls that could tarnish your brand’s image or alienate your audience.

I’ve been using AI for nearly two years now.
In the beginning, progress was slow as I figured out how to craft prompts to achieve the best results. Over the past year, AI tools have advanced significantly, but one thing remains constant: detailed and specific prompts are still the key to getting the best outcomes.
I’ve been using AI for inspiration for blog posts, website copy, reimagining calls to action, email copywriting, social media ideas, writing better online ratings, and generating content ideas.
Here are the platforms I’ve used so far:
- ChatGPT4.o (that’s an “o” not a zero) (paid version, $20/month)
- Custom GPTs (formerly Plugins are custom versions of ChatGPT that users can tailor for specific tasks or topics by combining instructions, knowledge, and capabilities)
- Dall-e (creates rudimentary images and is part of ChatGPT for subscribers)
- Perplexity (a great search tool that serves results often better than Google, and includes links for attribution)
- Midjourney (generally considered better than DALL-E when it comes to generating high-quality, photorealistic images, especially for detailed and complex prompts, while DALL-E often shines in its user-friendliness and ease of access for beginners)
If you (like many people) are apprehensive about AI and/or not sure exactly what it can do, or even if it’s good for your business, I’m here to set your mind at rest and give you some tips from my journey so far.
My first tip is to refrain from avoiding AI, and instead start slow, be inquisitive and know that this tool is going to save you so much time in so many ways, you’re literally not going to believe it.
Today, I’m sharing just one facet of what I’ve learned: How to craft AI prompts to enhance your social media marketing.
